| Abbastar Uranium Corp. (the "Company") announces that its name has been changed to Abbastar Resources Corp. There is no consolidation of capital and the shares of the Company will continue to be traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "ABA". The Company's common shares will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the new name on July 28, 2009 and the common shares of Abbastar Uranium Corp. will be delisted.
